When we arrived in Perth Gina and Andrew met us at the airport and showed us some of the sights including
Kings Park. Great views of the city of Perth and of the Swan River can be seen from the park.
The haze in the background is caused by smoke from fires.

The State War Memorial is situated at Kings Park.
On the rest day in the cricket championships we walked to Kings Park and enjoyed looking at the flowers in part of the park.
Near the hotel is Queens Park - another of the many parks in Perth. We walked through this park on the way to Gloucester Park (near the WACA) for the Meet and Greet.
